GRIFFITH ACADEMY
The Stop Motion Animation course is in Rome, is quarterly and allows you to undertake a professional path in the world of stop-motion animation, starting from the basics.
Overall duration of the course: 80 hours, in person.
Within the training course the students will deal with the various stages of making an animated short.
They will acquire skills in the field of Visual Design for the design of characters and sets, Puppet and Prop Making for the creation of puppets and sets.
An animation phase will follow with the use of camera and Dragonframe software and a module that will deal with the basics of Post-production.
Finally we will move on to the sound system.

How to make a character: writing and sketching, illustration, turnaround.
2.PUPPET MAKING:
Realization of a puppet with the direct technique, from the internal skeleton to the lining costume.
3. DIRECTION AND DOP:
The professional figures of the crew
Production pipeline
The camera and its components
PDO elements
How to equip and organize yourself for a set at home
4. ANIMATION:
Introduction to stop-motion animation
Tools of an animator: Dragonframe and Stop Motion Studio
Basic animation exercises
The different stop-motion techniques
5. POST PRODUCTION PROGRAM:
Introduction to the Adobe After Effects program
Removing a rig
Use and removal of the green screen
6. SOUND PROGRAM:
Diegetic analysis
Synchronic and diachronic analysis
Sound techniques
